I have selected a TED talk presentation on “Why children stay silent following sexual violence?” (https://www.ted.com/talks/kristin_jones_why_children_stay_silent_following_sexual_violence/transcript#t-4136). 1. Purpose: The general and specific purpose of the presentation had been to inform and male the audience aware of the reasons for children not interacting too much after any incident of sexual violence on them. 2. Non-verbal delivery: 1. The movement of speech in the presentation had been from a tone of inquiry or inquisitiveness to a tone of reality/practicality. The speech had made the mood of the subject matter to be sorrowful because of the consequences of the tragic incidents of sexual violence on children. There are also feelings of shame and guilt expressed in the presentation.
